Summer art camp at Art Works Art School offers an array of new and exciting programs for kids every week!

Camp activities begin at 9:00 am - 3:30 pm each day of the week. Extended care is offered from 4:00 - 5:00 pm for an additional $15+tax/day

A typical day at Art Works for full-day campers is as follows: 8:30-9:00 am drop, art projects begin at 9:00 am, snack break, a continuation of art project, lunch and outside time, a continuation of art projects, snack and finishing up / cleaning up. Weather permitting, we will spend approximately 1 hour outdoors at the park or nearby field playing games/sports.

Students must bring their own healthy nut-free lunch, 2-4 snacks, appropriate outdoor gear, and a water bottle. Campers will need to apply their own sunscreen.

Note: Registration for camps is FINAL, no refunds or credits will be provided unless the spot can be filled by someone waitlisted.

Week 1: (3 Days) July 2 - 4, 2025

  Young artists will explore nature and creativity in a fun, hands-on camp! Using leaves, twigs, shells, and recycled materials, they’ll create eco-friendly art like nature prints, sculptures, and colourful paintings. With outdoor adventures and playful projects, kids will discover the magic of art and nature together!

• Trekking Around the World
  Embark on a creative journey across the globe! Campers will explore the beauty and diversity of our planet by creating unique artworks inspired by different cultures, countries, and landscapes. From designing ancient Egyptian pyramids to painting Canadian cityscapes and capturing the charm of Japanese cherry blossoms, each project will celebrate the wonders that make our world extraordinary.

• Our Earth
  Unleash your creativity in a camp where art meets adventure! Campers will dive into exciting techniques and mediums, from drawing and painting to mastering portraiture and landscapes. Explore breathtaking ecosystems—like icy Arctic scenes and vibrant rainforests—and create artwork that celebrates the beauty and connections of the natural world. With every brushstroke, campers will bring these environments to life, inspired by their unique wonders!

Week 2: July 7 - 11, 2025

  Young artists will discover the beauty of Canada through fun and creative art projects! Campers will explore famous Canadian landscapes, animals, and symbols while painting, drawing, and crafting. From colourful forests inspired by the Group of Seven to playful animal art celebrating Canada’s wildlife, each project will spark imagination and pride in our national heritage. Perfect for little ones who love to create and explore!

  Celebrate Canada’s rich artistic heritage in this fun and inspiring camp! Campers will explore traditional and contemporary Canadian art while learning new drawing and painting techniques. Projects will be inspired by iconic artists like the Group of Seven, Emily Carr, Kenojuak Ashevak, and Norval Morrisseau. From breathtaking landscapes to vibrant art, kids will discover Canada’s unique stories through creative expression.

  Celebrate all things Canadian in this exciting art camp! Campers will draw inspiration from artists like Tom Thomson, Lawren Harris, and Mary Pratt while exploring the themes that make Canada unique.   Dive into the undersea world of Bikini Bottom! Join SpongeBob, Patrick, and all your favourite characters for a fun-filled art adventure.
